Comment- It seemed like not a lot of life happened on this day. Sometimes that's a good thing!
930 PM I wish I had cable just so I could watch, "Whale Wars" on Animal Planet every Friday; so amazing!!! It follows the Sea Shepherds on their boat "The Steve Irwin" (previous ship; The Farley Mowat-Great song on Robin & Libby's latest album! BTW) The Sea Shepherds interfere with illegal whaling. They are amazing people! I saw the captain interviewed on Carson Daly this week & found out about the show. Fridays 9 & 11PM
1130PM It's a good thing I'm not on a diet. We went to Pie in the Sky on Center Street in Berkeley tonight for veggie pizza (yum!) and I had one of their amazing espresso shakes! Resistance is futile!!!!

**Update Pie In the Sky no longer exists. It went out of business a few years ago.
1145PM Andy has informed me that I must get offline & watch Conan O'Brien. And of course it's mandatory to watch Carson Daly later as The Foxboro Hot Tubs (actually Green Day) will be on. Andy's hoping they will perform "The Ruby Room" about one of our favorite local dive bars,

6PM: Hmmm. We're considering going over to Dan's neighborhood for yummy veggie burritos. El Farolito on International! Dan has opted out due to Mac & Cheese-fest tonight. However, we now have plans to liberate his wine coolers! I haven't had a wine cooler in years!
8 PM: Oh! I am soooo stuffed. El Farolito has such good HUGE veggie burritos! And Horchata! Yum!
1130PM: So this is just my week to catch up on amazing films! Andy & I just finished watching, "Milk." Wow!

​MMMM happy! Silvia made me a "Key Lime Pie" & then a blueberry martini then I stopped by Verve's and.... Now eating yummy cold chinese food. Spicy green beans-perfect with a nice buzz!

A blueberry martini is essentially vodka, blueberry juice and simple syrup. A lot of recipes add a splash of citrus liquor like blue curacao, grand marnier or triple sec or fresh lemon. You can also muddle some blueberries and add them to the shaker to add flavor and color.

 There are lots of versions of a Key Lime Pie cocktail but most have vanilla vodka, key lime liquor, a smidge of pinapple juice and heavy cream. You can fancy it with graham cracker crumbs on the rim. You can also get around the key lime liquor by using lime juice and simple syrup. There are a plethora of different recepies on the web.
