1151PM I know this sounds all "Susie Homemaker" but I do this, not because I have to, but because it brings me joy to feed and nurture others!
Finally, a real kitchen to cook in! After 5 months, the novelty has NOT worn off! Another happy food coma ftw at our house! I might have made a good mom in the kitchen after all, though we never manage to eat at traditional dinner times.
Last night it was Chicken with asparagus and mushrooms, salad
and rice with a touch of sour cream mixed in. (Thank you again for the rice cooker Mary Gee!) Tonight it was Sloppy Joes on big rolls we got from the food bank and lots of spices and veggies mixed in with the moo.
For dessert, fruit salad with strawberries, apricots, oranges, 3 kinds of grapes, banana and green apple tossed with a light dressing of coconut milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Don't you want to come eat at our house? I had such fun making and sharing it!

Lorelei Moon I would but I don't have a charger for my camera battery anymore :-( I could also post pictures of my housemates all stuffed and happy. Before and after! LOL
